The ISA
Ferndale is a member of the Independent Schools Association.
The ISA was founded in 1879 and is one of the oldest of the independent schools' organisations. It is an association of 300 accredited schools which are united in endeavouring to nurture, support and promote independent education. Member schools are inspected every six years by the Independent Schools Inspectorate (ISI).
The ISA prides itself on including schools of many types but all hold in common innovation, professionalism and a desire to meet fully the needs of children in their care.
